Nomura outlasts Kerr on 6th playoff hole

IRVING, Texas (AP) Hara Nomura two-putted for birdie on the sixth playoff hole Sunday for her third LPGA Tour victory after Cristie Kerr briefly took the lead on the 72nd hole in the windy Volunteers of America Texas Shootout.

Atkins wins first title

LEON, Mexico (AP) Matt Atkins won the El Bosque Mexico Championship on Sunday for his first Web .com Tour title, closing with a 4-under 68 for a three-stroke victory.

Atkins finished at 17-under 271 at El Bosque Country Club and earned $117,000 to jump from a tie for 87th to sixth on the money list with $127,625. The top 25 at the end of the regular season will earn PGA Tour cards. Read More...

MILTON, Ga. (AP) Nanna Koerstz Madsen rallied to beat former Stanford star Mariah Stackhouse on Sunday in the Symetra Classic.

Senden on leave due to son's brain tumor

AVONDALE, La. (AP) Australian professional golfer John Senden says his son Jacob has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
